My name is Ron, people call me "Ronbo". I am a homeless veteran. I do not have a drug problem, I am not mentally ill and rarely drink alcohol. I did not become homeless of my own accord. Everything was taken from me because I obeyed the law. Nothing more, nothing less. If I had chosen not to obey the law, I would not be homeless, simple as that.

On October 11, 2018, while stopped for a construction zone flagman, I was hit by a 40 ton semi truck doing fifty miles per hour.

Both my insurance company and the insurance company of the truck that hit me, owned by one of the richest men in America, refused to pay for any medical bills or damages. I was literally left for dead on the side of the road. Within a couple weeks, I was injured, deaf and bankrupt. On the street I went.

Following the accident, I found out the semi truck that hit me was owned by a company known to deliver drugs across the country, under the protection of state and local police. This was confirmed after being told by the police "if I wasn't careful, I might wind up the next veteran suicide".

I know that obeying the law and placing your life in the hands of the American police and justice system is a huge mistake. I learned this the hard way by losing my business of more than twenty years because of corrupt politicians and police.

I've lost everything I've worked for my whole life and now I'm going to lose that too. This is a documentary, not fiction. I can only describe what happens while I try to save my own life, it's all I can do. Whether you believe it or not is your choice. I have no reason to lie.

My life was destroyed because I obeyed the law. If I had chosen not to obey the law, none of this would be here. Please keep that in mind.
