The absence of light is darkness. Following the semi truck accident in 2018, a lot of the light went out of my life. I knew there would be no way back from that, no matter what happened. Overwhelming dishonesty, corruption and murderous greed. That was during Donald Trump’s first presidency.
Today, in the first months of Trump’s second term, many Americans are now feeling how I did after the accident six years ago. There really is no foundation to American society. As an American citizen, you are here to provide money, via your personal labor, to people who will murder you if you do not. Freedom, democracy, human rights, all false promises to keep three hundred million human beings in forced servitude.
Many people now must feel the future is extremely uncertain to the point of no future at all. Anything that’s here today could be gone tomorrow. The institutions you hope will help you in troubled times are causing the trouble. The leader of the nation is a convicted criminal, organized crime essentially owns the country and most, if not all, of the government. American politicians, government and police are as corrupt, if not more so, as any nation or organization on Earth. America has the most money, we have the most corruption. Simple math.
This has been my life, along with many others, for the past six years. America is a failing nation. A rapidly failing nation. I know because I am living on the front line. Everything I had that made me an American has been taken away. I’ve been living in places where the Federal government has already failed. Things are way worse than the average American knows. What Americans see on television and what is actually happening is vastly different on many levels. An entire nation of relatively intelligent people brainwashed. Of course very few people know enough recent human history to see the frightening similarity to the rise of Nazi Germany in the late 1930’s. If there is one thing America is very good at, it’s repeating the mistakes of history.
In any civilization, there is one basic rule. You must respect the right to live of your fellow humans. Clearly, in America, we do not have that now. There is no difference between truth and lies. You feel there is nothing or no one that can be trusted. That’s what it’s going to be like from here. People say “it’s going to be a long four years”. I’ve already been waiting for six years and there is no light at the end of the American tunnel.
For me personally, there is absolutely no hope of ever living indoors again, eating a cooked meal at a table, an indoor bathroom, a shower more than twice a year or having a complete night of sleep. While lying awake at night in too much pain to sleep, I think for the millionth time, why did I obey the law and stop for that construction zone flagman? I lost my business to drug dealing cops and lost everything else to cops and their organized crime bosses protecting drug traffickers. I’ve lived under police death threat for more than five years. I have not had any meaningful medical care in six years even though I have injuries that will probably cripple or kill me by the end of the year.
Knowing that I have been punished far worse than any of the criminals that tried to overthrow the American government because I stopped for a stop sign is hard to come to terms with. Jesus spent forty days and forty nights in the desert for spiritual testing and strengthening. I’ve spent more than two thousand days and two thousand nights in the desert and things have become pretty clear.
There is only one source of evil in the known universe. That source of evil is the human race. Greed, dishonesty, violence and so much more from a supposedly intelligent species. Most likely the only living beings in the universe to knowingly and willingly cause their own extinction and destroy much, or all of the planet on which they reside. Instead of developing the personal discipline to live in a productive, peaceful society, the human race blames everything and everyone except themselves for the self centered and violent world we have today. As the universal home of evil, this could very well be hell.
I’ve come to the point in my life where I think I’ve done everything I could do. I could have done more, but I have always tried to do a little bit more, so I’m sure I didn’t get cheated. The civilization I live in is falling apart at the seams which is accelerating the demise of the environment of the planet I live on. Older people always say life was better in the past. I vowed I would never say that, but as an old person myself, I have to say that life was better in the past. With succeeding generations having this point of view, one must assume that things are getting worse. The question becomes “how long do you want to live?” instead of “how long can you live?”
I got a new credit card for one that had expired. The expiration date was 2029. A strange feeling knowing the credit card will be here longer than me. Perhaps longer than American society.
